Before editing, inspect the current configuration and show the smallest additive change. Preserve existing providers, default model, account logins, projects and conversation history. Do not modify other applications.

Never ask me to paste an API key into this conversation. Let me enter it in the client’s secure field or local secret store. Do not print it, include it in a diff, or commit it.

Use an exact model ID returned by /models with my key. Do not invent IDs or claim that optional tools, images, embeddings or autocomplete work without checking the client’s documented capabilities.

After setup, ask before running a billable test. Verify one short response, then a small read-only tool task if I need agent features. Report configuration saved, authentication, completed response and tool support separately. If blocked, give the error code and next step without exposing secrets.

The text versions use the same client instructions as the website. They do not include any account data or API secrets.

What a useful result looks like

The agent identifies your installed client version and the matching configuration format.
You review a small change that adds Luma Cloud without replacing your providers or defaults.
You enter your API key outside the chat.
The agent confirms the exact model ID and completes an authorized short request.
If you need file editing or tools, test that separately in a safe project. “Settings saved” is not the same as a completed request.

If your client requires a protocol Luma Cloud does not offer, choose another compatible client. Do not ask the agent to invent an endpoint.
