Usage & billing
Know what is left.
Read your subscription allowances, explore activity and find the right way to add more.
Standard and Premium
- Standard
- Your standard model allowance, including Terra and Luna when available on your plan.
- Premium
- A separate allowance for premium models, such as Sol, when included in your plan.
Each has its own percentage remaining. Using Standard does not reduce Premium, and using Premium does not reduce Standard. You only see Premium when your plan includes it.
Open Usage for your account’s allowances. The model picker shows your current choices; see Models for API model selection.
When your quota resets
Weekly quota resets on the date and time shown beside its bar. Your week follows your subscription, so it may not start on Monday.
If your plan also has a five-hour limit, it appears below the quota it applies to. Both limits apply: you need room in the weekly allowance and the five-hour window to continue with that model class.
Resetting the five-hour window does not refill your weekly quota. Follow the reset date and timezone shown for that allowance.
Reading your activity
The activity calendar shows recorded requests. It describes how much you used the service, not the percentage of quota remaining.
- Daily
- One square per day, arranged in columns of weeks. Select a day to see its date and activity.
- Weekly
- Compare recorded requests grouped by calendar week.
- Monthly
- Compare recorded requests grouped by calendar month. The current period shows activity so far.
Activity dates use UTC. Calendar weeks are for comparing activity; they do not change your subscription’s quota reset. A period outside the available history is unavailable, not zero usage. A partially available period includes only its recorded days.
If remaining quota is unavailable, allow the page or menu to refresh. This does not mean that your allowance is empty.
A low-quota reminder may appear at 10% remaining. It does not stop access; you can continue while the remaining allowance covers your requests.
Which balance does my API key use?
- API Wallet key
- Uses prepaid funds. Open Usage → API Wallet for spend, tokens, requests and activity by key. All Wallet keys share your account’s balance.
- Builder key
- Uses the subscription’s Standard or Premium allowance. Check subscription Usage; adding Wallet funds does not refill this key’s quota.
Create and manage keys or add Wallet funds in API. If a key is no longer used, revoke it there and remove it from the client that stored it.
Add ×1 for the week
When available, buy additional quota from Plan & billing in your dashboard. The desktop menu takes you there; purchases happen on the website.
| Plan | Additional quota |
|---|---|
| Plus | ×1 Standard, or update your plan. |
| Pro | ×1 Standard, or update your plan. Premium purchases are available on Builder. |
| Builder | ×1 Standard or ×1 Premium. Choose one per purchase. |
×1 adds one base weekly allowance to the class you choose. It does not add both classes or remove any five-hour limit. The additional allowance expires at the end of that weekly window.
A plan can include several base allowances. Adding ×1 does not duplicate your entire plan.
You can buy once per subscription week and twice per billing month. Your billing month follows your subscription payment cycle, rather than the calendar month.
Before you pay, the dashboard shows your available option, price and expiry. Your included subscription price stays the same. If purchases are not available yet, or you have reached a purchase limit, the dashboard explains this and does not offer a new purchase.
After checkout
Your additional quota appears after payment is confirmed. If you see “Confirming your payment”, give it a moment; do not start another purchase. If it stays pending, contact support with the email you used to pay.
A subscription and the API Wallet are separate. Funding the API Wallet does not refill your Standard or Premium subscription quota.
